Local meteorologist might be trying to make Punxsutawney Phil look bad in 2022 as many recent projections have them believing spring is right around the corner. Recent reports predict temperatures will steadily rise this week bringing about a second warm spell for this February will bring temperatures into the 50s and 60s for many areas in New York and New England.

Most do not predict this will be the end of the winter weather altogether... but believe that the worst of winter may already be behind us this year. 

One thing to look out for when the temperatures fluctuate is potential mold growth in your home or business property. This can be common in areas around windows and doors where condensation is prevalent. It is important to catch mold early on because it can quickly spread out of control when the first few warm spring days come. 

Also be on the lookout for water damage from ice dams. If your home has or had large icicle structures built up then there is a chance your home has been damaged by this type of event.
