For many families, a finished basement is a perfect place for the kid's playroom and the laundry room. It is easy to keep the mess that is a laundry room and a playroom tucked away in the privacy of the basement. Unfortunately, not every basement is well heated and after a string of really cold nights, a pipe near the basement sill burst and water ran into the basement all night long. In the morning the homeowners heard the running water and saw the damage, they were devastated but called SERVPRO in hopes that we could help. Our team was on-site that same day and began extracting the water from the basement, in less than one week the basement was back to its original state.
